- The Union Cabinet approved the continuation of targeted subsidy provided to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) during FY 2024-25. Under the scheme, the targeted subsidy per 14.2 kg cylinder (12 refills per year) is Rs. 300.
- The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs approved the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Rs. 5,335/- per quintal for Raw Jute (2024-25 season).
- PM Modi launched the ‘Pradhan Mantri Samajik Utthan and Rozgar Adharit Jankalyan’ (PM-SURAJ) national portal, an initiative of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
- PM Modi witnessed the agricultural drone demonstrations conducted by Namo Drone Didis at Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Pusa, New Delhi. The Namo Didi Drone scheme aims to provide drones to a total of 15,000 Women Self Help Groups during the period 2023-24 to 2025-2026.
